1. Moisten the badger brush with warm water.
2. Load the badger brush with shaving soap.
3. Lather the soap on the face with circular motions.
4. Shave in the direction of hair growth.
5. Rinse the face with cold water.
6. Maintain the badger brush by rinsing it with clear water and letting it air dry.

- Why use a shaving brush for the face?

A more precise and comfortable shave: The shaving brush exfoliates the skin and lifts the hairs, allowing the razor to cut them better, thus reducing irritation and ingrown hairs.

A rich and moisturizing foam: The shaving brush helps create a thick and creamy foam that hydrates and protects the skin during shaving.

- What is the composition of the shaving brush?

- Is your razor safe?

As its name suggests, it is a safety razor haha, but compared to other safety razors (which can be intimidating), we have worked to increase safety and thus reduce the number of cuts. Unlike other safety razors, you are much less likely to cut yourself.

- How to add the blade?

1. Hold the razor handle with one hand and turn the bottom with your other hand.
2. Unscrew the handle and remove the razor head.
3. Carefully place the blade between the two upper pieces, the smooth and plain side should be against the handle.
4. Reassemble everything by screwing the handle back on. The blade orientation does not matter because it is the same on both sides.

- How to shave with the Shavest razor?

1. Wet your skin with warm water, use an exfoliant (glove, scrub, etc.) to prevent hairs from growing back trapped (prevents ingrown hairs). Use shaving soap, shaving oil, or any other product you are used to.

2. Check that the razor head is mounted correctly.

Important: Tighten the razor head well by holding it on the side so the blade cannot move.

3. Hold your razor at a 30/35 degree angle and shave with short strokes. This makes it easier to adjust the angle and control your razor.

4. Use little or no pressure; the weight of the razor will provide enough.

5. Be very careful around the knee, ankle, and back of the ankle areas. These are the most dangerous spots!

6. If your legs are warm and moist, you will avoid goosebumps and razor irritation.

7. The safety razor may require a bit more learning time than a "classic" razor, but it’s really worth it!

- Is it safe to shave all parts of my body?

Yes. No matter the place, time, or way you choose to shave, our razor protects you (...whether legs...armpits...or anywhere!).

- Does your razor rust; can it be used under water?

In 95% of cases, no (we explain the remaining 5%)! Thanks to the materials we use, our razor does not rust, and the same goes for the blades. It is specially designed to resist water, allowing you to use it safely in the shower. However, we always recommend rinsing it with cold water after each use and drying it. Why?

Depending on where you live, the water may contain a high concentration of lime, which could eventually corrode even our razor (and this is true for all safety razors).

If you shave frequently, make it a habit to do this every time you change the blade, for example. It is important to disassemble the razor, rinse it well, and then dry it with a towel.

- Is your razor suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive?

Yes! It is even recommended for people with sensitive skin who often have problems with other razors. Since it has only one blade and usually only a few passes are needed, it is perfect for sensitive skin.

Combined with a good routine (exfoliation, shaving soap, aftershave oil), it will be your anti-sensitivity ally.
