Choosing Shavest means saying no to:
Irritations, ingrown hairs...
Moisturizing strips filled with fragrance, PEG. Razors that are too light, forcing you to press hard on your skin, poor blade quality... Stop wondering about the cause of your irritations.
Plastic waste
Over 1 billion razors are thrown away worldwide each year without being recyclable. With Shavest, you can keep your razor for decades (it does not rust).
Expensive recharges
A plastic razor might be cheaper to buy, but in the long run, it costs a lot more! At least €50 per year versus €3-4 at Shavest.
And is it difficult to choose?
(it's simple)
How does our razor work?
Step 1
Disassemble the razor and take a blade.
Step 2
Position the blade in the razor head.
Last step
Close everything up and then screw it in. There you go, ready for the best shave.

A few questions
What is a safety razor?
Safety razors have been forgotten in favor of disposable plastic razors (yes, the plastic industry, economical at first glance but making us repurchase the same product every week, month, year...).
They have existed much longer than these new razors with their moisturizing strips, and they are much better. Characterized by the fact that they use only one stainless steel blade that you replace by unscrewing the razor head (more details in our videos), made from much more durable materials, these razors are made to last a lifetime.
Little known or still with preconceived notions: "you can cut yourself with it," "it's for men"... it offers the smoothest shave you can experience. Even more so thanks to the work we have done at Shavest: we adapted the razor head so it can be used on the body (remember that the safety razor is old and was often adapted to men's faces...).
What is the difference with other safety razors?
Good question! You may have seen razors similar to ours for sale? But as you might guess, they have nothing to do with our razor.
Why?
• They are not made the same way and are not of the same quality. This causes them to rust and break very quickly. Shavest is a razor that lasts a lifetime!
• There is a higher chance of cutting yourself with other razors! We have worked to create a much safer razor head to reduce the number of cuts to zero. Yes, the myth of safety that cuts every time is over.
I'm afraid of cutting myself with it, should I?
Many of you were afraid at first, but many told us that in the end, it was safer than a traditional razor. Surprising, isn't it?
So, as its name suggests, it is a safety razor, which sounds scarier, but compared to other safety razors, we have worked to increase safety around the head and thus reduce the number of cuts to zero. So unlike others, you will not cut yourself.
What is the duration and price of the blades?
Let's take the example of Clarisse's shaving experience, the co-founder of Shavest, to help you understand the durability of our blades.
Generally, Clarisse shaves every 4 days (although sometimes she might wait a bit longer). She changes the blade after at least 2 months but would say more like 3 months (since she takes good care of it). For 1 pack of 20 blades (free), she has enough to shave for 5 years (that's huge lol). But if you shave every day (which gives you 30 shaves per blade), you will have about 2 years of shaving! 2 years of shaving will cost you exactly €3.75 with the pack of 20 blades. But with the 100-blade pack that lasts you 10 years (or more), you will shave for €2.29 per year!!!
Imagine on Clarisse's scale, if she buys the 100-blade pack, she will use 4-5 blades per year, which means 20 years of shaving already purchased 😅 and for someone who shaves every day -> about 10 years. Nothing more economical & ecological 🥰
However, once again, depending on your usage and how you maintain your razor (never rinsing it...), you might need to change your blade more often. In general, if you feel the shave is becoming uncomfortable, you should change the blade.
Is the razor suitable for all areas?
Yes! With this, you can shave your bikini line, armpits, etc. BUT we won’t lie to you, like a "classic" razor on these areas, you need to go gently. But you already know that haha.
Can the razor be used in the shower? Can I also leave it in there?
Our razors are specifically designed to resist water and especially rust (unlike some low-quality safety razors...). You can easily leave it in your shower, but be careful depending on where you live, the water may have a high presence of limescale, so we recommend cleaning it a bit more often in that case (simply open the razor head, where the blade is, and rinse).
